relaxation Aromatherapy diffuser essential oils

Clients have asked me, "What kind of diffuser do you like?" I prefer a diffuser that uses water; distilled water is better when using a diffuser as it keeps down on mineral deposits and helps your unit last longer. You can occasionally clean your water reserve with white vinegar; let the vinegar sit overnight and then rinse and dry. I've had my Aromatherapy diffuser for over four years, and it still works great.

What essential oils should I use in my diffuser? It depends on what you are working to achieve; however, I do not use a few plant essential oils in the diffuser as they either leave a residue in the water chamber or require extra cleanup. So, for this reason, I avoid using viscous essential oils like Vetiver, Myrrh, or heavy resin plant essences. Due to the natural blue nature, I typically avoid plant essences that contain the organic compound Azulene like German Chamomile, Blue Tansy, Yarrow, or Blue Cypress. If you use essential oils with a naturally occurring blue color, you can remove the staining from the water chamber with a rag soaked in rubbing alcohol afterward.

Moving along now, let's get into my favorite essential oils I like to use in the Aromatherapy diffuser, the assistive properties, to achieve various beneficial outcomes. And while it is not my complete list, it is undoubtedly at the top for multiple reasons.

Laurel Bay (Bay Leaf) - Antiviral, Antiseptic, decongestant, antibacterial, and emotional use would be for inner courage. Use for coughs, colds, bronchitis, and sinus congestion.

Grapefruit: Antiseptic, disinfectant, antidepressant, stimulating the central nervous system, and the emotional use would be happiness, joy, and spiritual ease. Great for mental clarity and focus while studying.

Juniper Berry - Aid for the respiratory, immune, and central nervous systems assisting anxiety, insomnia, and mind chatter. The emotional use would be self-purification, "CLEARING," and space purification!

Palo Santo - Antioxidant, mosquito, and insect repellant and calming for the immune and central nervous systems. Emotionally used for grounding, anxiety, depression, and emotional trauma. Use for clearing negativity, enhancing the physical body's energetic field, and meditation aid.

White Sage - Antimicrobial, antiviral, antiseptic, and expectorant. Much like Palo Santo, emotionally grounding, relaxant, and meditation aid, clearing and balancing for the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical body. Great when smudging with white sage isn't possible.

Spearmint - Antidepressant for mental fatigue, stress, clarity, concentration, and focus. It is relaxing, uplifting to the scenes, clearing, and rejuvenating, a soothing balm for heaven-sent dream work and sleep. Spearmint's child-like personality and optimistic nature usher in hope, bring a smile to your face and bless your wishes as they are lifted on a gentle breeze traveling to your heart's desires, emotionally used for inspiration.

The aromatherapy diffuser is my go-to when I have allergies or sinus or chest congestion; the humidity and plant essences help open the channels of breathing passages coupled with their antimicrobial properties. My personal favorites are Eucalyptus (Masala or Blue Mallee), Cedar Leaf (Thuja), Helichrysum (Gymnocephalum), Magnolia Leaf, Laurel Bay, Niaouli (MQV), Peppermint (France), and Rosemary (Hi-camphor).

I hope you find my favorite plant essential oils for the aromatherapy diffuser an enlightening share, and below I've shared my personally recommended aromatherapy diffuser. "As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases."
